By using onlinecolortools.com you accept these terms. They are deliberately short: the tools are free to use, and in return we ask for no more than common sense about what a free utility can promise.
You may use every tool for personal and commercial work without attribution or payment. Color values, palettes and exported images you generate are yours. You may not resell access to the site as your own service, scrape it in a way that degrades it for other users, or present the tools as an official product of any brand shown in an example.
Conversions follow the standard formulas, and the contrast checker follows the WCAG relative-luminance calculation defined by W3C in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. Two practical limits follow from that:
The site is provided without warranty of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. We do not promise that it will always be available, that it is free of defects, or that it is compatible with every browser. Features depend on browser APIs — for example the screen picker needs the EyeDropper API, which some browsers do not implement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for losses arising from use of the tools, including work that has to be redone because a color value or exported palette was wrong. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Pages link to external documentation and download pages, and load traffic measurement scripts. Those parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. A link is not an endorsement, and we do not control their content.
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page is when the current version was published; continued use after that means you accept it.
